Our goal is to help the animals that come to us find their forever homes when they are ready. It is a dream come true when they find that perfect person or family. It is true what they say that sometimes they pick their people.
One of the most important factors in adopting is making sure it is the right fit for both the people and the animal. Adopting an animal is a life long commitment and we always want to make sure it is the right environment for everyone. We would love to help you find that perfect new family member or partner.
Adoption Process
Fill out our Adoption Interest Form below if you have any questions or are wondering about availability
Fill out the Adoption Application for the specific animal you looking for- mini horse/donkey or riding animal
Schedule a visit - we will introduce you to animals that are good fits for what your looking for
Lets make this happen! We will complete an Adoption Contract together as well as the adoption fee and figure out transport together.
Every adoption has a one month trial period which can be extended if needed. This trial is to make sure it ifs the right fit for the adopter as well as the animal

Our Promise
We have made a lifelong promise to any animal that comes through our doors. When you adopt from us, this extends to you and your family. We are always here for you, your family, and the adopted animal if you ever need our help. This includes anything from sudden medical issues, training help, or just someone to talk to- we are here. If your situation ever changes, the animal will always have a place back here with us and no questions asked. You are part of our family as are these special animals.
Adoption Policies
Upon adopting an animal, you become their voice. We do require a few things from those that adopt from us besides the basic essentials of food, water, shelter, and love
Breeding- any mare adopted from Fairytale may not be purposefully bred or used for breeding.
Riding- some minis are not ridable due to size or medical issues as is true with minis donkeys. We do require that you respect this if true for the animal your adopting.
Selling - non riding animal (miniature horses, donkeys, and companion animals) may not be sold and instead must return to Fairytale. Riding or performance animals may not be sold within the 4 years. Fairytale has first right of refusal after that time.
Transfers- transfers must be approved by Fairytale who maintains the right to refuse any transfers. The new party will be asked to complete an adoption application and will be held to the same standards as the first adopter. No transfer fee or adoption fee will take place in a situation like this.
